Ham Loaf

Another one of the most amazing dishes that my beautiful momma makes.  This one is great <3

Since there is just the two of us, I make them into little ham balls and freeze 1/2 of them so that way I have a quick meal for another day.  And trust me... you want this again.  Even though I only cook 1/2 of them, I still make the full glaze recipe - we like the extra sauce!

Ham Loaf

1 lb. ground ham
1 lb. ground turkey
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup cracker crumbs (Club)
1/2 cup milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
Add ketchup for consistency, only if needed

1. Mix all ingredients together to make a meatloaf consistency.
2. Take a 9x13 pan, form a loaf.
3. Cook at 350F for 1 hours 15 minutes.
* While in oven, make glaze and with 15-20 minutes left, pour over the top and finish baking.

OR

1. Mix all ingredients together to make a meatloaf consistency.
2. Take a cookie sheet, form meatballs.
3. Cook at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
*While in oven, make glaze and with 5-10 minutes left, pour over the top and finish baking.

Glaze -
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp. mustard

As it is cooking - it will smell strongly of vinegar - that is normal - don't worry.  It tastes great, once cooked.
1.  Mix all ingredients together in a small sauce pan.
2.  Bring to boil.  Boil for 10 minutes until it thickens a little.
3.  Pour over meat.
