Grandma Bailey's Butterscotch Cake

The smell of this cake brings back good memories of my grandma Bailey.  She requested my mom to make this for most of her birthdays.  It was her favorite.  And truly has become one of mine....

Cake
1 box yellow cake mix (WITHOUT PUDDING!!)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 can butterscotch OR 4 butterscotch pudding cups

Mix ingredients until smooth and thick!  Put in a well greased 9x13 pan.  Sprinkle with:

Topping
6 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 package butterscotch chips
1 cup minced pecans

Bake in 9x13 metal pan 350F for 40-45 minutes
Bake in 9x13 Pyrex pan 325F for 40-45 minutes

The cake will look like a normal pretty cake.  But it will deflate a little bit as it cools and will be a little gooey in the middle.  It is normal!!!!  So don't worry!

It tastes amazing!!!!!  And reminds me of one of the most amazing women that has ever left a footprint in my life.
